The pandemic reveals the urgent need to augment the educational system’s technological infrastructure, expand the teachers’ pedagogical expertise and the students’ learning repertoire. They face key challenges in adapting practices away from a focus on face-to-face learning to an online learning environment mediated by various forms of technology. Students and teachers have been forced to shift from traditional classrooms to emergency online / remote learning.
